Goodbye 2011 indeed. Looking back, 2011 was a fabulous year filled with amazing DJs, much needed vacations, over the top cuisine, a new job, and some much needed reflection. With the usual ups and downs, 2011 was overall a fun one to be remembered by. A couple highlights for 2011 were: turning 25, changing my hair to dark, renewing the lease on my apt, getting a new car, Nibbles my hamster, and starting a new collection of jewelry. Cheers to 2011 and looking forward to 2012.
If this proves to be true, then I will have MUCH to smile about when I’m old, wrinkles and all.

I have been eating quite healthy lately. Replacing a meal with a salad, counting calories, and being disciplined. If I died tomorrow, this would be my heaven. Bacon makes the world go round.
Case of the Terrible Tuesdays. This song always lifts me up when I feel down.
I’m on the pursuit of happiness
And I know everything that shines ain’t always gonna be gold
I’ll be fine once I get it, I’ll be good

Explaining Old Book Smell
That explains why you get your nose caught in a book, especially an old one. Knowledge is power.
I believe you have 6 significant birthdays in your lifetime.
- Your first birthday. This tends to be the most celebrated, too bad none of us can remember ours.
- Sweet 16. The good old teenage birthday, before you know any better, but think you know it all.
- The big 2-1. The legal drinking age birthday, enough said.
- Quarter Century 25. The quarter life crisis birthday. When you think life is over, but in actuality adult life has just begun.
- Your 50th Birthday. The typical over the hill jokes, cards, and cakes birthday. While being 50 years old is a milestone in itself, this is my favorite birthday to look forward to. Looks like I am half way there (:
- The HUGE 80th Birthday. The amazed your still alive birthday. If you make it to this birthday it will probably be one of the last ones you can still enjoy. Make sure it is a celebration!
25 years young. Another birthday come and gone.

There is something so elegant about chandeliers that they can even make living in a tent absolutely fabulous.
